I'm trying to figure out what type of cake to serve for my daughter's birthday party. A whole cake is super simple, cupcakes are fun for little hands, but then I thought about serving cake shooters. After looking around for a few ideas, I stumble across this blog with a tutorial for cake push-ups. I've heard of the concept before but had no idea where to go to buy the containers. The blog has a link, plus some beautiful pictures. It also advised that you need to push up slowly or else the cake will fly everywhere. So I'm scratching the idea simply because this is a party for four and five-year-olds. But the tutorial is still worthy of a mention. Simply divine!
